JO CROIMANS

I’m Croimans Jo, born in Germany, living in Belgium, with a passion for cave and mine diving.
It all started years ago when i was making jokes at work that the ultimate urbex is exploring underwater in mines, as my other hobby is urbex.
At the time we received new co-workers and one is a dive instructor and he said : if you want to dive i can teach you.
so only 6months on backmount, that was not enough for me, so converted to sidemount, “Once you go side, you always dive wide.”
Crawling on hands and knees in the dry parts, my drysuit can withstand lots of abuse, never regretted it to buy a Dtek Trilam Kevlar drysuit,
it should’ve been the first drysuit from the start.
So several years past by, here we are, diving in caves and mines, enjoying the old history on a Liberty Sidemount CCR.
My preferred mine on this moment is located in Poland : Marie Concordia Magnesium mine, for its beauty, crystal clear water, and a perfect dive into history.
Belgium and Germany also have marble and slate mines where i dive frequently and explore the dry parts.
Always on the hunt for new locations, something new and pristine.
Still lots to explore in Europe, many more dives to do.
Diving is a never ending story of evolving, learning, having discipline, but most important be humble.

As an XCCR and Flex2 factory approved service center, we are also the competent partner at your side when it comes to maintenance. Most of the time we dive and teach in cold water lakes, so a perfect fitting and reliable suit is the key to perform. Since many years we trust Dtek dry suits.
It is neither the brand nor the association that makes me a highly trained diver, it is my personality.

At the Diving University, having fun while diving is the top priority. Safety is our top priority. According to the motto “Make the easy way the right way”, we will get you to your goal.
